Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc. provides small business development services through an affiliate corporation, Chautauqua Opportunities for Development, Inc. (CODI). CODI’s mission is to develop opportunities for new and existing entrepreneurs in Chautauqua County and surrounding communities.
CODI was incorporated in 2003 and has been certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the US Department of the Treasury since 2004.
CODI provides micro-loans, business consulting, and business start-up training to help local businesses grow and invest in our community.
Retail stores, bed & breakfasts, contractors, tattoo parlors, gift shops and restaurants have all benefited from CODI’s loan programs, one-on-one business consulting and entrepreneurial training’s.
